Day of National Truth and Reconciliation
We'll be honouring the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation on September 30th on Fort McKay FM.
Tune in at 9 am, 12 pm, 2 pm, or 4 pm to hear "A Mother's Voice" produced by Holly Fortier.
At 2:15 pm tune in to hear a special program with messages from Chief and Council, a moment of silence, and music from Bizzy and Kaydence.
Later today (Wednesday, September 29th) we'll be delivering orange powder cannons to homes in Fort McKay. We'll post a video on how to use them later today. After the radio program tomorrow afternoon, grab your powder cannon and head outside. We may not be able to gather together right now, but we can show each other love and support with bursts of orange as we honour residential school survivors and those who didn't make it home.
FMFN buildings will also be lit orange tonight and tomorrow night.
