Keeping You Informed:
CNRL would like to inform the community of Fort McKay that brush pile burning will be taking place near the south boundary of Horizon site (within Total’s Joslyn Lease) beginning February 23 and running until February 28.
This controlled burning is part of our 2016 Burn Program and could result in visible smoke in the area, depending on wind strength and direction. Canadian Natural is monitoring this activity closely and burning will only take place when weather conditions are favourable.
